Last year, the total volume of non-oil external trade of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi amounted to 306 billion dirhams. This figure reflects the strategy of diversifying the economy and reducing dependence on oil revenues.
Representatives noted that this indicator is the result of intensive efforts aimed at developing non-oil sectors of the economy. In particular, the emphasis was made on the expansion of exports of agricultural and industrial products, as well as on the development of tourism and infrastructure.
One of the strategic goals of the authorities is to further increase the volume of non-oil external trade to ensure sustainable economic growth and diversify revenues. They also noted that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi remains an attractive partner for foreign investors and entrepreneurs thanks to its open economy and favorable investment climate.
One of the key factors contributing to this success is strategic partnerships with various countries and international organizations. Within the framework of these partnerships, trade-economic relations are actively being developed, which facilitates an increase in the volumes of exports and imports of goods and services.
